Where Beauty Meets Purpose

Women’s Lantern creates beautiful solar-powered lanterns and ethical homewares that bring warmth into homes, gardens, retreats and meaningful gifts.

But behind every product is something more.

We believe beautiful design should do more than decorate a space. It can create opportunity. It can support livelihoods. It can help build a more sustainable future.

Behind Women’s Lantern

Every lantern begins with a simple belief:

Beauty and purpose belong together.

Around the world, millions of useful materials are discarded every year, while many women rebuilding their lives face barriers to income, opportunity and economic independence.

Women’s Lantern was created to connect those challenges through one simple product.

We transform discarded coconut shells and natural rattan into beautiful solar-powered lanterns designed to bring warmth, light and meaning into everyday spaces.

What starts as waste becomes craftsmanship. What starts as sunlight becomes clean energy. What starts as a purchase becomes opportunity.

Because a lantern becomes more than a light.

It becomes income. It becomes skill. It becomes dignity. It becomes a pathway forward.

Founder Story

Founded in the darkness. Powered by light.

When someone has walked through darkness, they understand the value of light.

Founded by migrant survivor, author and social impact leader Ratu Nida Farihah, Women’s Lantern transforms personal resilience into collective impact.

What began as one woman rebuilding her life has become a movement creating pathways to safety, dignity and economic opportunity for others.

Every lantern carries that story forward.

Handcrafted from natural materials and powered by the sun, each piece is a reminder that beauty can emerge from hardship, and that light becomes most meaningful when it is shared.

Because we believe safety, opportunity and sustainable livelihoods should belong to all, not only those born with easy access to them.

Founded in the darkness.
Powered by light.
Built for a brighter future.
